| PortaBase is a database program for creating, browsing, and editing custom tables of data. Typical uses are media inventories, reference charts, etc. Notable features include ability to change the columns at any time, views of column subsets, multi-column sorting, multi-condition filtering, CSV and XML file import and export, and column summary statistics. New in version 1.9: image columns and slideshows, menubar and toolbar layout customization, the ability to change views from the row viewer, better support for running on non-English systems, and assorted bugfixes. | ||||
